Auto sensing lights

Just wondering if anyone has fitted auto sensing light switch to their car. I used to have this in my old Commodore ie lights turned of when I switched ign off and got out of the car, my old statesman even had time delay for the lights. I just want to fit something that when I lock the car the lights go off.

Series 2 prados have that factory already
I havnt touched my headlight switch for a long time
They stay on with ign and turn off with ign off and door open

Wouldn't expect it to be too big of a job for an auto electrician to hook up a relay to the ignition for this.
DIY would be also possible for someone in the knowhow.
