Engine Coolant issue

Hi ,

I've noticed that my turbo diesel Prado has been loosing coolant from the coolant little compartment box , i have taken the prado to a specialist center and they have checked the radiator and all the hoses and there is no leak on them. also i have checked for coolant drips below the car and havent seen anything weird when the car is turned off. I also noticed the coolant is only consumed while the engine is on movement.

Question is, is it possible my engine is evaporizing somehow the coolant? what are other reasons for coolant lost besides leaks?

could be leaking internally into the engine via head gasket or cracked head,remove the oil filler cap and look for whiteish foam type stuff on cap, if coolant leaks into engine usually ends up in oil then at operating temp it evaporates and then condenses at high point of engine ie top of rocker box and filler cap, good luck
