Engine replacement need help!!!

Can anyone help?.

I have a Prado Rv with a 2.7 litre (2693cc) 3RZ-FE.
How hard would it by to up-grade it to a 3.4 litre (3378cc) V6 5VZ-FE.
Would i have to change the engine mounts and gear box?.

You would need to change the mounts, gearbox, cross member, new computer/loom, modify the tacho. If your going to do all of that, then you would be better off putting in a V8, as it would be about the same work involved.

Honestly I would just sell the car and buy a 3.4 litre. with conversions you always run into "hidden extras" along the way.

If my engine ever died, I would go for the 4.7 V8, as it will bolt up to the auto box, (only need to change the bell housing), then only need to change the wiring and ECU and a new exhaust system. Sweet as, will sould nice and go quick.
