Knocking front end and ticking noise

Hi Guys,
I have recently bought a 97 Prado 3.4 and I have 2 queries. The engine ticks while idling and I'm not sure it is normal, it is on Gas. Also, there is a knocking noise when I drive over small bumps that I can feel at my feet, any idea what this could be? Otherwise it's a fantastic car!

The knock is steering rack bushes, cheap as chips to replace.
The ticking is most likely the injectors, but can also be no upper cylinder lube for the gas side of things.
