Spark plug wires

Thanks guys for your advice on the absence of catalytic converter and oxygen sensor on my 1999 Prado. My mechanic was certainly relieved to hear that. To help reduce the unburnt petrol smell from the exhaust, I intend to start tackling the spark plugs and their wires. Besides the recommended NGK BKR 5EKB-11 spark plugs, as recommended by the owners manual, are there other better performing spark plugs , e.g Bosch Platinum + 4 (assuming it can be used ) ? Any recommendations for a premium spark plug wire set suitable for my 99 Prado ? If this does not help, I will have to call Lubmobile to do their 3 in 1 fuel injectors clean. Thank you.

The Bosch Platinum+4 plugs work good in the Prado. The Prado does not have plug leads, the coils are on top of the plugs .
