2.7l engine mods , chip, extractors , airfilters etc

hi there im a newby to the prado world ,have just purchased a clean 97 2.7rv 200,000kms for $8500 is that a good price? anyway decided to buy over a 3.4 tough decision come down to fuel ,service,rego and the thought of having to rebuild a three cam 24 valve toyota money sucking spare parts monster.
Anyway is there any goodies to improve the performance ,extractors,airfilters (k@n) , chips, etc and where to purchase any help would be great.
oh and by the way for years ive had rangerovers and landrover discos and frankly there unreliable shit cars im sick off them everytime i see one i feel sorry for the people in them and what their in for. :twisted:
