  • Making your own touch up paint

Believe it or not, non of the car dealers in the entire country can sell a single bottle of touch up because one company is the sole distributor of auto paint! Gotta love monopoly!

Any way, I went ahead and ordered the paint for the cars, I was told by the seller not to even bother with using it as touch up because it will come off! He said that I must go to a body ship and ask them to mix it up for me. Apparently they need to add thinner, additives, hardners, etc....

Any ideas? I guess that is what I have to do to get some touch up paint because I have a big issue with the 5 Door in that it needs touch up more than it needs oil Are these additives available in the market? What are the secret ingredients?
