Help with swapping Headlights

The 1997 two door which I had purchased recently have the round lights housed within a black enclosure, it actually makes the front look like a Jeep. I am thinking about changing them with the later model's headlights, can any one tell me whether this is a straight ahead swap? I believe that the grill is the same on both my car and later models?

Hi, so I gather no one here upgraded their headlights from the old units to the newer ones? I have checked under the hoods, the attachment points are in the same position, it should thus be a straight forward job. Going to the junkyards soon, wish me luck!

Probably more the fact that most of the participants here are Australian and our vehicles are different to the UAE spec vehicles.
Makes it hard for us to comment truthfully as we may not have the same here.
