is anyone know the kit to change from auto to manual transmission for my prado 1995 diesel? My main concern on the inside is making the car look as if it was orignally a manual, and not converted from the auto.. any suggestions?
thanks

If you want to go from auto to manual, first off you are in for a lot of work.
1. gear box mounts, not too sure but highly likely.
2. clutch/bell housing change.
3. hydraulics for the clutch, and pedal install.
4. diff ratio change front and back.
5. in cab hardware, ie center console.
6. most importantly. Engineering certification in order to get/keep it registered and insure.
You would be better off to sell and buy an auto.

Yes, indeed. There is a lot of work involved. Transmission cross member will need to be changed as the manual box is longer than the auto. For the same reason, the prop shafts will need to be changed too. The diff gears are the same between manual and auto so there is no need to change them.
Agreed that selling and buying the car with the desired transmission is the better option.
