Been meaning to share this one for a while. It's one I actually managed to fix, unlike my fuel-feed dramas so far. After a day in the bush in pouring rain (the day we took the avatar pic, actually) my wife discovered that the front carpet was sopping wet, but ONLY on her side. After many experiments a leaking windscreen was ruled out & I finally (only took a couple of hours) noticed that the a/c drain-tube was sitting at a funny angle in the firewall. Guess what? The little rubber drain-tube is just a "friction-fit" over the actual drain from the a/c & ours had come off (I'd say a LONG time ago) & all the condensation from the a/c was being neatly funnelled under the front carpet. At the cost of a couple of singed knuckles (it's behind the passenger-side exhaust manifold) I got it refitted firmly in place & no problems since.

There was a sill-deep creek-crossing to begin the day with a causeway water-splash to finish - as you can see. Which threw me off-track with the carpet. First thing I checked was the drain-plugs! No, just one of those nasty little maintenance things to watch out for or there can be unpleasant consequences.

We all have a turn at it eventually if enjoying our 4be's properly
After a slow water leak I removed my entire interior and gave it a good clean and drying. Looked great afterwards.

Yeah it was out camping/touring for 3 days, on the road constantly. It was a 12L water bottle. Initally placed incorrectly, and leaked a few L's. Placed correctly afterwards, but still leaked Oh well clean now!glen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90
