Clutch footrest removal - How?

Hi
Anyone know how to remove the left hand footrest next to the clutch pedal?

Need to remove the carpet but stuffed if I can get the footrest out.

I cant remember exactly as I did remove mine totally from my 90 grande, but I'm sure if you look at the footrest closely their are two what look like grommets, same pattern so not really noticeable and your turn them anti clockwise to undo them. Now Im curious if my 120 is the same ?? Will check it out..........Cheers Steve OK just checked and no my 120 is different. got me wondering now if I need to remove the one from my 120 how to do it lol.....hope I don't need to.......

Sorry for taking so long to thank you but just too busy and forgot.

Anyway, here's some pics of the foot rest showing what Steve describes. I needed a torch to see this as its well disguised.
Left pic shows the foot rest 'as is', right hand has the two covers rotated a bit.
These screw covers just rotate and don't really have a thread so to get the cover off you need to put a big screwdriver or other leverage device under the footrest and apply a bit of upwards leverage. Whilst doing this, rotate the screw covers anti clockwise and it'll slowly come up/off. Putting it back on is simply a case of positioning the footrest and pushing it down again.
