Im pretty sure it will fit, I would buy it.
The main differences in bars on the 90's will be the width to suit flares or no flares.

Does your 2000 one have airbags? Something to consider, as I'm insure if 98 models had them. Just a thought

i have a early 99 Rv model (before airbags), i bought a steel bullbar off a 2001 Rv prado, the part numbers from ARB are different.
In saying that i fitted it and its goes on the same.
has an extra gap but its only an inch or so.
just fit it, not worth worrying about and it would be hard to come by a pre 99 Rv bullbar.
good luck
