Ok, so i bought a 1998, 95 over the weekend. i have done some reading on this magic site and others! i have had a few conflicting reads wrt to 90 series coils. here is the questions- ( i know they have been discussed, but as said, i have had conflicting reads. so i would just like a straight answer )
1. Are the OE front coils from the 120 taller than the 90 series OE coils?
2. How much taller?
3. are they taller than say- EFS heavy duty coils?
4. do they fit?
5 what is the MAX lift i can go on the front, comfortably. i don't want things to start going out of spec and tearing boots etc.
I ask because my Prado seems VERY high in the rear and i think the front could go up a bit. i can get a set of front coils with about 20 000km on form a 120 diesel and wondering if these will fit and lift the cruiser enough. BUT... now will the Shock be ok or will they need replacing too? (too short)
i would LOVE to just replace everything with a new set from EFS, but $$ are short right now...
Any feed back would be great and any tips or other ideas i am open to.
thanks.
