As the lights on the dash don't dim this tends to indicate your battery is ok.
I would therefore suggest that the problem is either in the starter or the
starter circuit, key switch etc.
You will need to connect a voltmeter to the solenoid terminal on the starter
and get some to start the car, I can't remember if it is an earth or a positive
used to operate the solenoid, whichever it should stay approximately the same
as long as the key is operated. If it does then fault is most likely the starter
solenoid contacts, these can be purchased cheaply from autoelects.
If it changes could be wiring, key switch, if auto transmission safety switch etc.

Looks like there is a voltage drop to the starter motor. Possibly caused by a loose/broken earth wire. Worse case scenario is the starter is on its way out.97 VX Grande, with front & rear air lockers, ARB Sahara winch bar with tigers 11 winch, 2" EFS lift, 265/75/16 Achilles Desert hawk XMT, and more.
