Pre filter placement

Hi,

Newbie to the forum.

Heading up through the centre in few months and after doing a bit of reading decided I should get a pre filter on the diesel.

I have a dual battery set up and there is no obvious spot for the filter - looking at a Donaldson unit.

Looking for some advice from anyone who has a similar set up and fitted a filter plus a second battery?

Air filter? Do you have a snorkel? You can fit a pre cleaner on a Safari very easily. I used to borrow the pre cleaner off my tractor when i had my 90 series, 31/2" from memory. If you are talking about a fuel pre filter it goes near the firewall on the passenger side. Google Pradopoint+prefilter and you will see results for both across the 90, 120 and 150 series. Drop into the General section "Introductions" and say hello.

Oops sorry.

I meant a pre filter for the diesel fuel.....

I'll take a closer look at the fire wall clearances...
