After purchasing a piranha dual battery tray for my 3.4 petrol Prado about 8 years ago the purchase of a camper trailer has been the catalyst for its instillation. As my Prado is on LPG there is no room over the other side of the engine bay to move the charcoal canister too, after much searching the two options I found were on front of the battery tray, however this doesn't work with the piranha tray as it juts out a bit from the edge not leaving enough space and screwed to the plastic radiator shroud, this also doesn't work if you want to put a bigger battery in the original position which i do.
After much head scratching I came up with underneath the headlight which leads me to my question. How high does the charcoal canister need to be, where I have it the bottom is 10cm above the top of the fuel tank and the top is 22cm above the top of the tank.
Is there any issues with where I have located it?
