immobiliser/remote locking

Can someone please tell me where to find the immobiliser/central locking unit for a 2001, 95 series?
Seems to have an intermittent fault, door actuators are OK but sometimes not getting the message to operate.
Red light on the dash flashes when key is removed so that (immobiliser) would appear to be working.

There a completely seperate system
The imobilizer is intergrated into the engine ecu on the V6 in a series 2
The central locking reciever is in the passenger kick panel this only tells the central lock relay what to do
The central locking relay is in the interior fuse box

I bought a Gregory's manual and did some reading, eventually found both items.
Job for a rainy day I think.
