roof rail loading capacity

Hi guys

I recently purchased a used Prado 95 it comes standard with roof rails. I was wondering if anyone would know what weight the original roof rail would take. Or would I be better off just removing them and install a set of thule racks on the gutter. I intend to mount a James Baroud roof tent.

100kg. This I would imagine allows for severe driving conditions... Rough corrugated roads with dips. Of course when the car is parked and still, a lot more weight can go up top, such as 2 or 3 people in a rooftop top tent.
