  • New to owning a Prado.

    Howdy Guys,
I have just swapped my 60 series Cruiser for a 2002 TX Turbo Diesel Prado. I had taken the 60 to hell and back and just wanted some feedback on just how far the new Prado can go (no I do not abuse my vehicles, was trained in the Army to drive off road so only know to well that if you get in there you have to get out). Have kepted the old 60 series as she was such a good vehicle could not bear to part with her. Also can anyone tell me wher I can get some decent seat covers for the Prado (live on Mid Nth Coast NSW)

    Any Advice greatly appreciated.

A couple of months ago I saw packs of seat covers specifically for Prados at a Repco store and an Autobarn store near home. Each pack had covers for front seats and the split rear seat. Not wool but pretty good quality fabric.

I think the covers are for 120 series but looking at my mate's 120 series seats, I think the covers will fit a 90 series as well. I wish I had seen them earlier because I spent a fair bit of time modifying a single rear bench seat cover into covers to suit the spit rear seat.
