Hi guys and gals,
I had a pair of pneumatic lumbar supports fitted to the 95 Series a couple of weeks ago. Let me tell you these things are absolutely fan-bloody-tastic. We drove from the Sunny Coast Qld to Emerald Central Qld towing a big furniture trailer after having them fitted about 11 hours of travel (yawn). I arrived feeling pretty good, no back pain like I normally have after a long drive. So good in fact we drove back the next day about 1750km round trip in 2 days. Back feels great.
The cost to have one fitted is $180. Mine was done by Gadenne Motor trimmers on the Sunshine Coast, that's the same mob that did up Bloke's Monaro on the Channel 7 Backyard Home Make-over program. Real good job too, only thing you can see is the little bulb that is used to pump them up or let them down.
If you have lower back trouble these are definitely worth looking into. Much cheaper than new seats.
