Re: A fair price to pay
I was thinking of buying a prado 1999 grand model from toyota dealership, had it priced at $17,000 with 224,000km. My hubby and i test drove the prado and found that the brakes didnt work well ( 2 meters extra to stop) then they said we could have it for $15,000 & wouldnt consider anyless, so of course we walked away, a week later saw it advertise for $14,556 around the price we offered them in the first place.
Lucky I found a 2002 glx vzj95r with 196,000 km for $14,500 yep a bargain i think, Will be picking it up next week after they service the Prado.
The prices at the moment vary so much as if you look on carsales or drive.com there still selling 1999 models for the same amount as i just paid or even higher.
