bar and winch combos / advice

Hi All, Im looking to chg my current alloy bar over to a steel bar with Winch. I am interested in what others have on there 90 series and opinions. I have been looking at the TJM outback bar and ARB Delux bars with either an Ironman or Tigerz11 winch. I would also like to mount a set of HID lightforce 170 stikers on the bar. Any pics of similar setups would be appreciated. cheers Aaron

I've got the Ironman 9500lb winch and it goes well. Scored very well in the 4WD Action winch comparo. Have heard good things about the Tigerz11 too.

Got a tigerz11, it sounded pretty nasty when using it (gear noise) and had a weird noise develop after two recoveries. Ben at tigerz11 was fantastic help and even though the drum I sent back was not the cause he sent a brand new one and new driveshaft. This fixed the weird noise but the grindy gear noise persisted. After getting the dial indicator and verniers out I found the machining of the gearbox housing has a problem - which caused the bent driveshaft. The drum drive was pressing against the first gearset causing all sets to wear into each other due to the gearbox machining being out by around 3mm. It also meant the drum seal was not in contact with the drum face. I have fixed mine as I needed the winch back on the vehicle and didnt want to wait for tigerz11 to figure out the cause and fix - 3 months on and they are still investigating...
