Thanks for the pics AJ. Love em. Had a ball and if a chick on her first trip out can get up Billygoat Ridge (even with a bit of help) then anyone going can should they wish to give it a go. Hubby can't wait to have a go next time so if we don't have that lift yet might need another minor tow or... better wheel placement.

Maybe we had better pull our finger out and get all the organisation finished first though.
Great to see a full house for this event, 40 Prado's and over 100 people, I might have to go out and buy a stock whip to keep everyone under control
Bring on the GTG.

I think everyone will finish this event feeling significantly more capable with their 4wd ability than when they arrive. The diversity of tracks and terrain that the committee is going to put attendees through is fantastic. Some sections of tracks will challenge the best of you (like half-way up Billy Goat at Bendleby; negotiating the mud on the Border Track; or diff-deep in sand at beachport). But, for those less-experienced, be sure that in all of the events that we SA PPers get up to, we've never had to turn around a vehicle and send it home. EVERY ATTENDEE will make it through the tracks, as long as they don't listen to the advice of MLC..... That's a big no-no...Diesel Prado with various things...

At this stage Beachport and Bendleby are both a group booking so need for individuals to do anything. I will confirm re Loxton shortly and the bush camp at Red Bluff has no bookings at all, but being a Tuesday night we should be fine for that.
Now that we know how many are coming and all payments have been made we will obviously be starting to crank up the organisation of the many small parts that will go to make this event happen. Those attending can expect information to start to flow in the not too distant future regards what they need to do in order to be ready for the event. Keep an eye on the forum, the website and check your emails and everything you need to know will be revealed.
