So the rain has apparently come and gone to be replaced by freezing cold weather. That may add to the snow up on Ben Lomond.

Bugger Bali, get out and see Australia before we sell it all to China.
Mate, what a day its been today. Lovely weather, big change from yesterday. Walked into Wineglass bay, then I decided to take the bike out for a ride on some 4wd tracks to Bluestone bay while Sherron recovered.
All this time in Tassie and we've only had a couple of crappy days!
Can't we just keep travelling?

I think it was blowing about 110kph when we were up there last week. I had to hang on very tight to climb the trig station mound to avoid being blown off.

We camped up the mountain last night in Ben Lomond after visiting Jacobs Ladder. We had no wind, the sky was clear and there was no dew in the morning. Not bad as we were 1000m +. Today we had another beautiful sunny day.

The only snow is right up past the buildings up toward the ski runs. Too far to walk.

Another glorious day following a light shower last night. Up to Cradle Mountain and there was plenty of sunshine in between the clouds. The wind was cold but I managed with just a t-shirt up top as I was getting pretty warm walking around the crater. My legs are only a little tight following the exercise.

Today was packed full of capes, light-houses, hills, windy-bits, dairy cows, and more green stuff. Ulverstone - Burnie - Table Cape - West Point - Arthur River - Edge of the World - Rocky Cape - Stanley - Penguin.
