I mean consistent power through rev range. We plan to trade the big van for a jayco outback model when kids a bit older. Taking it off road etc. I agree the toyo diesels aren't what they used to be. But nor are any other brands (just read my history burnt by both d4d and Santa Fe).
Hoping that with new inj in and knowledge about extra water filter and sump pickup clean. Might just might be able to keep another d4d from blowing up...
but we def are considering petrol as a viable option.
Would people who recommended petrol change their opinions if it was going to be an outback offroad explorer vehicle? Or is a petrol with snorkel dif breathers still totally viable. This question is really evolving now sorry
