Think I found my first 150 series Prado!

Greetings all,

Firstly my kind thanks to any input on this.

Basically having turned away from Prado's the first time due to the higher purchase cost. This time I'm wanting to bite the bullet and get myself into a decent Prado. I'm quite set on a 150 series GX or GXL and after looking at many many vehicles I may of found one that's in my budget and of good condition.


Specs are:
2010 Prado GX Diesel
161,000km (this is my concern)
ARB Delux Bar
Lite force Spotlights
CB with bar mount aerial
Cooper Tyres
Toyota tow bar
Extra 12v socket in boot
Full service history
Very clean inside and out
Mostly highway KM's between farm properties


Price is looking like $32,500



Would love for others opinions on if this seems like a good deal.

Hello Luke and welcome. I presume that it is a D4D. I'm not sure on the market in the west but when I was looking I found that values were quite high considering mileage and age of Prados available. I would think that values in WA are a little higher due to the isolation of the western market. There are many on here who will know where to start for WA vehicles. The vehicle history would be most important as the mining industry and govt use the GX mostly and the use could vary greatly. Are you buying it from the original owner etc and where was the vehicle used / serviced?

Servicing was all done at Toyota.
They are the second owner, first owner put 50k on the clock.
No indications of mine site use.
