Stienbauer chip seems to avoid any dislikes so must be good.
      1kz @ 110 will get me 1250kms.
Crank it up to 125-130 and it comes back to about 1000km range.
Ouch what fuel tank size is that? The 1kd will do 1900km in the 120 at 100kmh, and 1600km in the 150

          Thanks Macaroon & Clarkie,
All sounds good getting Manta Exhaust on Friday, the Steinbouer does seem to get good reports will see how the exhaust performs then look at a Steinbouer,
          Cheers Alan,

160 lts in an old 90.
It would be better again at 100 but over here speed limits are 110kmh so not keen to go slower :-)

I would have no problems buying the Pajero. The only thing I don't like with them in regards to engine is the prado is certainly a lot quieter in the cabin. I drove a VRX in tassie for just over a week. A lot of cold starts, short runs etc but was in the 8L per 100 the whole time. Plenty of low down torque pulled like a train, the seats at first seem flat but also seemed to be comfortable so no issues. Great vision. All round I loved driving it but after a week I thought the engine noise was very intrusive especially under throttle. Once up and cruising drove very nice and not so noisy. I would certain have one especially as a tourer or for towing. I think around 440nm for memory. It was the latest model with spare wheel dead centre and that big plastic bit that wraps around it..... My neighbour has an 06 exceed, has been very happy with it...cheers Steve
