I used to own a 1998 1HZ 100 series,and its time for me update to a Prado,the issue I have is which engine should I go for in the 120 series 1KZ 11.5l/100klms or D4D 9.3l/100klms diesel or 13.5l/100klms petrol,I'm swaying towards a diesel but I'm hearing bad reports about injector/engine problems. Only wish to spend to $25,000.

Get a nice kitted out 1KZ for that price mate
also a kitted out petrol if you want more power.
Fuel figures will be more than you posted, more like around the 13l for the 1kz and more for petrol plus some if you have a heavy foot
I have a 1KZ and love it, if i had a petrol i would still love it, Its a prado thing
