FJ Cruiser also has a rear diff lock as standard. Wonder how the sales of that is going to be alongside the Fortuner.
I think the FJ is not much longer for this world. My feeling is this is the replacement.

The FJ is niche vehicle so sales are not expected to be high. The Fotuner is a main stream vehicle that will be expected to take sales from the MU X, Colorado 7, Challenger and Everest.

Completely agree with this comment. At the 1.50 minute mark of this video, the rear brakes are clearly discs.

Yeah its confirmed on the Toyota.com.au site: http://www.toyota.com.au/all-new-fortuner

"A reversing camera is standard across the range, as are seven airbags, hill-start assist control and an emergency stop signal. Toyota expects Fortuner to attract the top five-star safety rating.

All variants will feature front and rear air-conditioning, large touchscreen audio displays, Toyota Link connected mobility#, side steps, 17 or 18-inch wheels, disc brakes front and rear, and an air-conditioned compartment that helps keep drinks and food warm or cold. "

The dealer was setting something up in the yard, lights camera's marque maybe something new was about to arrive.

I wonder what the next Prado will have to justify the extra cost?

Yes, I'm wondering the same thing - surely Tojo can't have the Prado with the same tune of the Fortuner - hopefully it will have more kw & nm for it's dearer price and heavier weight

But everything is priced per a different countries 'selling quantities'?
Is Thailand's prices similar to ours normally for same models?
