I just got a call to inform me that my D4D will also not be available until April / May 08. As i don't need it in a hurry thats OK, but still very annoying. At this rate we might as well wait for the complete model update in 2010??? Or maybe get a 200 series.2014 Kakadu V6, HR Towbar, MSA seat covers, Scan Guage II.Comment

Just checking my tracking status. It does not tell me much more but at least something has happened :? I am now shown as on order but it worries me that I don't have a confirmed production month. :evil:
For those of you who do not have access to the tracking system - here's what it looks like.
Some of you seem to have a delivery date - but where is this shown on the form? As you see I don't have any place where this could be shown.

By the looks of it your build date still has not been determined by Toyota Japan. I do not have access to the online tracking service but my dealer faxed me through his order tracking details and mine says September build confirmed. I wouldn't put too much faith in this tracking system it relies on Japan entering the data which they apparently aren't too good at. Add to that the fact that it is a new system under development with problems and you have a recipe for disappointed customers. You're only going to do your heads in watching this system too closely. Just be resigned to having a long wait I'm still trying to get my order placed so at least you are all in front of me, even though my dealer reckons he can get me one out of the next boat load, dream on!GXL D4D auto silver option pack 2 delivered 31/12/07.Comment

I had news from my leasing person....
Signed order forms on 5th June (i.e. I don't know when it was actually ordered with Toyota).
On boat at the moment - due to arrive in Perth on 19th September (I think that what he said).
Apparently there can be holdups of a week or so due to stevedoring company so the worst case scenario is first week in October.

Just thought I'd put up my tracking data for comparison. Seems that there is definitely something happening in Japan if this is correct Order was placed early July and was originally told delivery end September. "Latest estimated pick up date" has only come on in the last few days.
