Mine is still showing as in transit to OZ with a deliver date of 26/7

Over at the dealers today, and they confirmed that they have a delivery advice into the dealership of 16/7 and keys in my hands on the 19 or 20/7

Some times it felt like a phantom pregnancy, but now the time is near

Today picked up the Battery box (Flyer from ABR) the 120amp AGM ,Redarc. heavy duty wiring, anderson plugs ,fuses etc for auxilliary battery which will be placed in cargo area.
Next tuesday the Waeco cameras on Prado and caravan get fitted.

So its all happening and best of all only 2 sleeps until I pick it up.

With state of origin on tonight and being a Queenslander life's great at the moment.

To those leaving on trips hope it all goes well .

Hi All,

I have just placed my order for a Silver Ash GXL manual D4D. Placed the order with the dealer on the 28 June. Dealer said he would order it first week of July and to expect delivery in 3-4 months. I hope to get the production tracking details shortly but can't wait till it arrives.

Plans are to fit snorkel, colour coded ARB deluxe winch bar, original Toyota towbar, Michelle's Sacs 2nd row seat cover and organisers (protect it from the kids), sandgrabber floor mats and a couple of DVD screens straight away. Then as finances allow I will add to it.

Thoroughly enjoy reading the forum it is a great source of information on topics relating to both the Prado and 4WDriving in general. Thanks

I too have been quoted 12 to 14 weeks for delivery of my ordered VX diesel Prado. I only ordered it yesterday and I am really hoping I get it before the beginning of November as I need to drive from Alice Springs down to Newcastle on the 12th of Nov.

Before I can do that though I have to fly down to Adelaide and pick it up from the dealer there and drive it back to Alice. So it is going to get an early workout, I reckon by the end of Nov I will have close to 10,000 km on it. :shock: I do a lot of driving which is why I wanted some creature comforts this time, hence ordering the VX. I already have satnav so I did not need to buy it again.

Got an email from the dealer on Thursday to say that the original delivery date of early Sept has now moved out to Oct. :x

I was at the Pilbara Motor group today and they have 1 manual (silver) and 1 auto D4D GXL (Blue) on the lot.
So if you want it now heres your chance.

They also told me about the update but have no prices as yet.

Well today the wait was over!.. Pickup the Prado! So sweet! It is a great car and worth the wait!

Have swapped tyres over to D694 all around and added a few accessories myself (dust cover, light protectors, cargo mat) - more to come.

Pradopoint sticker already on!

Now to have some fun!
