I would have thought any beer can purporting to contain XXXX but was actually empty would be worth more than one with the supposed contents?

You wouldn't think so if you got an empty one in your carton of beer. I can supply any number of those. It's the collectibles that are worth anything. Sometimes a soft drink can will find its way onto the line and gets filled and cartoned at the brewery, but you can be sure its got your beer in it.
