House Beach

I did a bit of camping down and around Albany over the Christmas break and was lucky enough to be taken to House Beach. Of course my GPS wasn't working so not sure if I can remember how to get there. Has anyone else been in and around House Beach near Fitzgerald River National Park. I reckon it would have to be one of the nicest beaches I have been too in a long time. I have never seen abalone as big as what I saw while diving, pity we couldn't take any.

We stopped a quite a few other beaches on the way back and they were all great with some excellent tracks to tackle.

No such luck, not only did was my GPS not working but my camera wasn't charged. It was in the console all ready to go, or so I thought but when I tried to turn it on so I could take it out with my diving it was dead. It was a spur of the moment trip to the beach and one I won't forget in a hurry but I only have the memories so that's why I want to see if anyone else knows how to get there so I can go back there.

It appears to be. Now to put it back on my wish list for the next time I can get away for a couple of days. I would love to take some of those huge abalones I saw. We couldn't get into Jasper beach due to the fires and Alexandria Bridge was pretty good too.

Im heading down to fosters beach or dillon bay (West of bremer bay) depending on the weather on Aust. day.

If I get time Ill check out house beach.It looks pretty special!

It looks like It would give some great protection from strong SW winds

Make sure you take some dive gear with you and take lots of photos

Thats it. We've been there quite a bit. We even spent our honeymoon there 13 years ago. Love that whole peninsular especially Peppermint beach

Dillon Bay is great too. Heaps of great camping all around Bremer!
