It was a lovely day spent driving the beach.
Saw some cool things that you would not normally see cooped up in the 4 walls of an office or in front of the telly.

First it was dolphins, then schools (Balls) of fish with a quick thinking passer-by with a casting net getting a feed, then finally a stingray.
Thats not mentioning the smooth clear ocean that was fantastic for a cooling dip. (temp gauge was hitting very high 30's)

Chippy, Marty, Wayne and myself covered the beach in record time due to the condition of the sand. soft in places but for the most part capable of 50- 60KMH.
A great way to spend a day.

Thanks for a great day out guys, I don't think there were any pics taken so cant share the sights with you all but to say it was awesome is being modest.
We wondered what the other (poor) half were doing......

Thanks Jeff, Wayne and Marty for the awesome company.

It was a magic day with the weather and wildlife all combining to make it just perfect.


We'd never seen the beach as wide or flat and it made the drive really fun.


Bek's little Bro - Marty - has finally seen the light. He's been with us long enough for some Prado-ness to rub off.

and had to come out for a play. He's super impressed and already has a list of mods a mile long. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I didn't end up going, my brother took the car along with 3 people and their cars. Apparently he saw you guys somewhere near preston beach heading back?? He's also seen the stingray...big one from what he was saying. Shame I couldn't go

Sorry for the late reply but thanks a stack to Jeff, Chippy and Marty for a great day out. I just have to figure out why my front end has developed a knock and I am all set for the next trip.

I managed to get a few pics in between driving

Stopping for lunch and letting the kids (adults) have a swim.

Looks like you guys had some fun, unless my eyes deceive me that "beach" looks as good or better as some of the so called highways up my way. :wink:

I can't believe that I missed this one! Haven't been on here for a while and missed this topic. I was down at Preston and Myalup a couple of months ago and the water was sensational (minus the stingrays). Will definately be there for the next trip. Can't wait.
