  • Will 265 Konig Chains fit on 275/65 R17?

Sorry if this is elsewhere, I have searched, but come up blank.

I have my annual 4bie trip coming up, and this year with all the rain i thought it important to take some chains along. I have a set of Konig Rallye 265 chains, and the tyre size is 275/65 R17. The Konig guide says for those tyres it needs 267, but i was hoping that you could go a size either way and get away with it. If the tyres were 265 id be fine!

Does anyone know if they will still fit?

    Thanks

In the high country, so will pretty much just be for mud on a few steep and possibly slippery slopes. Mainly just for extra insurance should the need arise.

Enjoy we have travelled from Queensland a couple of times to do the High Country with Drive4Life in Autumn it has been quite dry, more important was good Light Truck tyres as we found it to be quite rocky.

I do the high country a bit, with this being the annual trip. It is quite rocky in places, and shaley, but there is also a bit of mud/silt around some of the hills. Its always a great trip, and a great place to visit.
