Help: Having trouble in uploading pictures for a trip report.

I am trying to upload pictures from a recent trip. I have followed the instructions set out in "How to post pictures".
Is there an easier way than the one decribed there?

Pradopoint now allows photos to be uploaded to the website, although the size of these images is restricted. They would still need to be linked to the thread/post in question.

For higher resolution images the best option is still to upload to an image hosting site (postimage.org or photobucket.com are the commonly used ones) and then link a thumbnail image which allows the image to be opened from the hosting site if a member wishes to view the bigger picture.

There are a few recent threads, and a variety of older ones which cover this inclusive of the Pradopoint How to page which you have already viewed.

I have followed the instructions as per the advice in the forum. When I paste the picture it comes up as a "link" and won't open as a photo.

Are you using postimage or photobucket? If postimage are you using the second URL from the top? if not try that. Following the instuctions in the how to thread should work, I should know as I wrote the description in that thread so computer dummies like me could work it out, uploaded hundreds of pics using that process and it works every time.
