i think all the dealers are as bad as one another... i don't think there is such a thing as a dealer with good customer service.

They walk around your car with a clip board and note the condition, damage, etc just like when you return a rental car. Then they would have a record that the vehicle was not damaged upon receipt and they get you to sign the page before they commence with the servicing. At least that's what happens here in Kalgoorlie now that they have a brand new premises.

It can be annoying when these things happen, but in the end what does it matter. The car will eventually get crushed and well all be dead and buried and wonder why we spent our lives caring about small details when we could have been enjoying th precious time we have.

No I'm not a morbid, just can't be bothered worrying about stuff... I mean some people do genuinely have a tough life... not a scratch on their bullbar.

I remember the first time my wife scratched her car and was worried about me getting upset... I said who cares you wouldn't hurt a person's feelings over a bit of paint and steel that will end up rusting away...

Oh well... thats my rant for the day.

Local Toyota dealer scratched the (remaining) plastic bumper when fitting an ARB bullbar. No worries, they fixed it and gave me a free Camry for a couple of days while it was fixed.

Fair enough Midlife, But I still couldn't care less... I mean I care for my rig, even polish it... and I would like to see it fixed if scratched but certianly wouldn't spend anytime getting annoyed about it. There are more fun things in life to be doing then worrying about a scratch, dent, etc. Anyway just rambling....
