Goodyear MTR Kevlar... last shipment!

Hi all,
Just a heads up as I was talking to Goodyear the other day regards these tyres and strangely enough it seems Goodyear are putting the MTR Kevlar's into the too hard basket

According to this store owners phone conversation while I was listening...

Goodyear AU are having so much trouble getting stock that they are going to stop ordering.

Apparently a container arrived last Friday and was all committed to backorders and another container will arrive on the 16th Aug with half already being committed to backorders.

After that, they will not be importing any more.....

So, if you are looking at getting these (in any size) I'd be asking your local Goodyear if there's any truth to this guys info.

Interesting business decision. Having a product that sells so well it is difficult to maintain stock levels and choosing to stop selling them rather than improve the supply chain. Surely there must be more to it.

That's exactly what the Goodyear guy and I were both saying... he was told they are now on 'run-out' at full price.

It seems that Goodyear are still selling MTR kevlars .... any reports from someone who has them?
