Moving House

So I thought I would just throw this out there.

We have finally managed to sell our house and are busily packing. Moving to a rental for 6 months before making the big move to the sunny state, decided we really like the Glass House Mountains and am moving there early next year

SA's been great but its time for a change.

Really looking forward to a fresh new start and getting out of some of the rubbish that has been going on here for the last 12 mths.

Hopefully there are some members up that way that will be up for some day trips when we get there.

Plenty good tracks up here blackvx, especially around the glasshouse area and us qlders we r a friendly bunch and like getting our cars dirty.

ok so the time has come, busily packing boxes and we move out of our rental here on Thursday to start the big hike North to Glasshouse Mountains. Can't wait to get there and start exploring the new place.

Thanks mate we'll be doing it again in about 4 months. We are building a house so are renting for the time it takes to finish the build. Going to be a hectic year this year.

Sounds like a good idea to me ,i like when i here of someone biting the bullet and moving,crossing borders north and escaping life down here in the south.Planning on doing the same thing in the next couple of years when our youngest daughter gets steady bearings on her lifes journey and we are free.We will be heading north to the sunny coast as well so wife can be near her mum as she gets older and also care assist her brother. We have an abode to settle into at Mudjimba /[Maroochydore] when the time is right.I think we live life in phases and a new enviroment can be healthy for us.
From my observation the sunshine coast region is more progressive as opposed to metropolitan Sydney, but i am fortunate that i am hidden away from there on the northern side of the blue mountains, an area which i will miss. Hey i might even start cheering for the maroons ,given the quality of the blues of late.
Any way enjoy your move ,hope all goes well dealing with your builder and may we catch up with the qld crew someday.

We'll be Qld bound ourselves at the end of the year. Got a nice house in Scarborough (Redcliffe peninsula)
Wonder if I can put a house up for sale on PP. Anyone wanna move to this area?
