Before I destroy my second PP sticker, can anyone advise me how to successfully get the sticker off the backing?

Hi Paul,

Try these instructions. But don't worry about the Hinge Method unless the backing strip is in two pieces.

"Peel it off" Yes, Andrew, that is how I destroyed the first one!

The backing is not coming away cleanly and parts of the sticker are peeling off the application tape and staying on the backing.

I suspect that my batch may not have been so good, but I will give it another whirl.

You hoarder you keeping the instructions, I kept them as I use them for all die cut stickers, can't wait to get my 2012 GTG sticker now

Make sure sticer i laid flat, rub down across the APP tape with a squeegee or something fairly flat. this ensures the sticker sticks to the tape as it is medium tack.

Peeling the backing off can "sometimes" be tricky if they have been sitting for a while. Persistence and patience is sometimes needed.
Folding the backing away at a sharp angle is sometimes useful.

Once applied, wettting the app tape will make it release from the sticker. Make sure to use firm pressure to apply it beforehand though!
If the window/panel is wet to apply, you should leave it for a while to dry before removing the app tape.

Hi Richo,

Like you, I can't wait for my 2012 GTG sticker! (Thats if SA has them.)

I was told today that my leave app for Sep / Oct 2012 has been approved.

So all I can say is BRING IT ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
