Cooper Tire dealer who will take new tire trade

wasn't sure where to put this as it could go under any group's tyre section.

Does anyone know of a tyre dealer who will provide a good trade on the new tyres? My 150 should be in soon and I want to fit Copper STTs first up but would like a decent trade for the brand new tyres.

Presuming you mean you want a good price for the factory grandtreck tyres your taking off to fit the coopers ?? If this is the case your probably better to sell on ebay, or jump on the phone and ask the question to the tyre company what there willing to give you, save you driving all over Sydney.............Cheers Steve

Mate, if it's anything like here you won't get stuff all from tyre dealers. They just say "why would anyone else want them if you don't?". I think the best place is forums like this where people have similar vehicles and need spares or new rubber for road worthy and the like, or as mentioned above on Ebay.

I sold mine for $150 per tyre to another prado owner that wanted to replace his for AT20's again as he was very happy with the km's he had gotten out of them. I upgraded to Mickey Thompson ATZ 4ribs.

I swapped mine when new from a dealer in Belmore. Just had to pay for fitting.
HOWEVER, BE AWARE OF CHINESE COPIES, which i think I received. No warranty, now stuffed after 40K.
The genuine American Cooper Tyres will have a 80K warranty - make sure you get the warranty card.
