Call me a Pedantic but I am really frustrated about the fact that I have been reading about an interesting problem & solution and a member says that they will "post some pictures tomorrow" or "will let you know how I got on" admittedly some of the posts are years old but the solutions can be / are quite fascinating. Even a post saying that I still don't know what it was or something, would be somewhat of an end to some times a long process of evaluating a problem. It's not so bad when the poster gives a good amount of detail about what they were about to try next, as you can guess that the problem was solved. Hoping to stir up a few people in the future into finalising some of their posts. And yes I do know that it does take time, and everybody is busy, but it would improve the website for everybody.

yep i agree , but then sometimes we work it out and think ,oops how fn dumb was i to ask that , and we don't get back to it in case someone works out how stupid we are . well thats my problem anyway .hope that helps

I agree and intend to do something about this. I will post up a solution tomorrow when I've got some picks and discussed it with a fellow pper who can help and mauy have already posted an answer so I will also put up a link to that thread when I find it. Oh wtf, can't be bothered, will get back to it when I'm ready

Mmmmmm!!... What appears to be a dumb question to the knowing is not so dumb to the UN-knowing!

So it would be fair to say that all questions are legitimate irrespective to how dumb they appear to be.

All knowledge starts somewhere so if someone knows the answer there is always someone else looking for that answer!

So what separates a GOOD forum from a BAD forum can be based on the forums community response to answering the problem or question without conviction of stupidity.

"Stupidity & Dumb" is when "YOU KNOWINGLY" do something that will have dia consequences Lol

One's knowledge is ALWAYS another's lesson!.. Even if someone disagrees with your opinion a healthy debate always ends with a clearer picture on the question even if the debate remains

I also am guilty for not up-dating a thread or 2.

It does help others to assist when profiles are up to date with state or country so that it is known what vehicle is in question!

That is why we always touch a hot surface when there is a label saying "WARNING" Hot surface!!!! LMAO.

Nearly had more pain this morning as clipped a roo on my way to Noosa this morning but luckily no damage to the Prado as just flicked the roos ass end! (I just spun him around).

and yes i have one of those posts to finish , about replacement tailights . and if i ever manage to get the right one from the stupid buttwipe moron in victoria i might be able to write about the sorry story and finish the post .
