Hope someone can assist me....
Today i fitted a pair of Recaro seats to my 120 v6 Gxl non 2006 non side airbag Prado.
Upon removing the original seats i found a small device secured to up under the base seat foam with factory wiring attached to it ( drivers side)
I know on the passengers side there is a pressure sensor to activate the passenge air bag only if there is someone sitting there but this small device had nopressure pad or any aparent sensor but i found the airbag light on the dash stayed on unless i retro fitted it.
Does anyone know what it does?, how it must be mounted, which way it needs to face etc?
I could just plug it in and cable tie it out of the way which willfix the airbag light problem however if it actually is needed to sense something to deploy the bag correctly then im keen to fit it correctly..
Anyone with knowledge?.
