Saw a product called purple where I bought the little buffing wheel from but the stuff inside was purple but bottle was clear, definately wasnt the same bottle. I wil have to see if I can find this one some where, sounds easy to apply and remove.Cheers Steve

Hi Steve, you can order from Car Care products online. They are very quick with shipping etc or you can go to their shop and pickup yourself.

I use the Mothers small powerball on the Sovereign bar when I had it. Tape the plastic off and go wild....it's very quick.

i find after having a few stupidly big alooy bars on different utes (bns bars hangs head) that autosol is really good if you havent polished it in a while but is very coarse and a bit like using cut and polish. The other stuff like purple polish and other liquid polish's are good to bring back the shine and a lot quicker. i know a lot of truck drivers that swear by the purple polish and they polish a lot of chrome on there rigs

I need to polish my just installed second hand Sovereign bar. I have Autosol which is quite hard work. The Purple polish sounds good to me.

I found this site selling the Purple polish for slightly cheaper but the postage is much cheaper.

Anyone wants to split a carton for about half the price of the online shops mentioned above? Getting the Purple metal polish direct from the US. Parents from Sydney will be visiting in March so they can bring some back with them for those in the Hills District.

Just bought a bottle yesterday for $25 from a truck place here in Penrith, just about to give it a try and see how it comes up, wether its any better then the autosol, seems to be well recomended...........Cheers Steve

Hi all

I just recently used The California Purple Polish I can definitely recommend that polish.
It's really easy to use although it did take me a couple of hours to polish the bar but
the stuff is amazing.

I can vouch for the above. I only got round to cleaning a small section of mine and that was @1 yr ago..just never got the time to complete it all!! G8 gear tho.
