12V Vehicle Jack- Hi Jacker

Just reading th lastest addition of Camper Trailer Touring and there is an article about Kangaroo Creek Imports and they talk about a 12V powered vehicle jack.

Had a look on their web site and it does look interesting.

Priced at $255 so might be a bit dear for me but then again it looks like it does pack down not much bigger than the standard Prado jack.

Anyone seen one in person or own one?

i wont be keen on possibly having the engine running ti use the jack

Scissor jacks have a habit of breaking where the 'gears' are at the base of the jack if the vehicle moves at an angle when its wound up. The base stays put but the rest pivots around it breaking the gears.

We used these on our rally car with a cordless drill to spin it up.
