I like the fact that Prado got Excellent Driver Protection Rating and Very Poor Protection For Other Road Users !!!!

No wonder why no one cut across me anymore.... (Used to drive a Corolla)

The standards would have been different back then though I would imagine.

            Dave.
These are done under current standards. So a very good report for the 90 series with airbags.

I doubt that. From 2008, cars have been required to have electronic stability control to get a 5 star rating. Was that even available on the top of the range 90 series?

Did they say how many (out of production, I might add) 90's they destroyed to bring us this information? Sounds like a tragedy to me, unless the ones they used had faded paint work.

Ah, now I feel much better. What annoys me most about red cars, is that their owners think they go faster that the same car in another colour.

It is crash test data, it is how the vehicle performs in a crash, stability control has nothing to do with crash test data.

The new cars are ancap ratings. So that must mean that the ratings from older cars don't correlate to the ratings for new cars?

Ancap is Australia and New Zealand testing, this testing was done by a world wide body. It is more stringent than Ancap.
