King slide runners

I work in IT and as such, I've come across a few sets of King Slide runners, designed for servers etc. they are rated at over 100kg per set.
My question is, in normal use, they are mounted vertically in the rack, but I want to try and mount them horizontally to the baseboard in the back of the Prado, mount a piece of ply on top and use this as a draw runner for the fridge.

But, I am concerned, the weight of the fridge plus contents will be more than they can handle mounted in this manner. If I was to mount them in their normal vertical position, this would not be an issue.

Clear as Mud????

I had a look at doing the same thing but was told that if they are the side mount type then they will likely fail if mounted horizontally. I believe they have specific types for horizontal mount applications.

Could you not mount them vertically and make a tray with very shallow sides (same height as runners) for the fridge to sit in?

Hi Trek, I could get them made, but could not do it myself, I work in timber not metal...
Could be easier to just buy a ready made unit, and sell these to someone that can use them...
Not what I wanted to do, I like the DIY stuff..

I was actually thinking wood not metal. You could put square battens on your baseboard with the runners mounted on the sides and make up a tray with a ply base and wooden battens on the sides to attach to the slides. Thinking about it, it might be better to put the ply on top of the battens. This will only lift your fridge up by the height of the slides.

Trek, now you have me thinking......
I did see one made from timber, not sure if it was here or MySwag, but it looked bulky, but that could the choice on timber. I may lay a large price of ply, down over the whole rear, cut a hole as we still use one rear seat sometimes. That should give me a nice platform to mount it on..
I'll measure it up, see what I need. Not this weekend though, TuffTruck calls..
