there isnt a cooking section in here so ive put this here, I'm getting made at the moment a bag for my faithful Bedourie Camp Oven that can be tied/mounted to one of my rear wheel rims, freeing up room inside the Prado, in a sense being carried like years ago by Afgan Camel Riders. Maybe an idea to the Mods to make a cooking section for recipies or cooking styles when out camping, what people use etc.

Agreed. I'd definitely be interested in a cooking section. Love bush cooking because anything goes and theres no mess to clean up
Google shows pics similar to what Malcom Douglas uses in some of his cooking segments. Would be interested to see what it looks like on the back.

I thought about getting an expensive bag to put my camp oven in, but found one of those green woolies bags (the non plasticy ones) fit it perfect which is stored either on the roof racks or in the back of the prado.
Recently picked up a asian wok cleaner to clean the camp oven and its awesome at cleaning... just do what the asians do and pour a bit of hot water in the HOT camp oven (or wok) straight after cooking, and a quick brush with the brush and shes good to go... too easy!
Heres what Im taking about.
I also have a bread tin that stores inside the camp oven, always good to bake a fresh loaf of camp bread!

Great Idea Jase
Brushes for wok cleaning also listed on EB. however sure to be cheaper in store.
I like the suggestion of the 101 recipies for road kill section.
A light spray with a cooking oil keeps the camp oven free of rust during storage.

The mounting the bedourie camp oven in its bag on the rear wheel was good in its idea but not in principle because it was totally covered in dust and some dust still got inside the bag. It now goes inside the Prado or on the roof rack. The Cobb Cooker with the extension is a great asset, i can also use the bedourie oven with it as a frypan.
