Just on a bit of a side track here..... but one of the other Youtube Video's that come up was this one:

Have a look at the rear of the lead Prado.... Check out the REAR BAR plus the difference in the REAR DOOR to what we get here.
The REAR BAR & DOOR look pretty good combination I reckon....
        cheers..... Rob (macca)

The thing I dont like about traction control is that it is too slow to respond, give me lockers any day, doubt he would have even spun a wheel, but still 2 great vids showing what the Prado can do

Spitfire, do you have an auto or Manual?

If Auto, do you ride the brake pedal with your left foot when "crawling"?

                    Bernie.

Berniebgf, its an auto. Yes right boot on the throttle (steady revs, not to high) and riding the brake with the left foot, use to do that with my old grande. Crooza, yes I found when I had the grande with traction you had to give it a bit for it to realy activate or at low revs it didnt work as well. Id imagine the 150 has a better system then my old 90 did. Lockers I think still gives you alot better control, can idle very slowly as we all know with gentle throttle. I reckon if Steve had even just one rear locker, with the traction control working the front wheels it would work very well. Must say that still shows what the prado is capable of and good wheel placement and control by Steve. Im sure I heard a thump under neath in one of the climbs ?? but job well done. My wife would shoot me if I had a 150 and showed her a clip like that if the vehicle was hers LOL. Cheers Stev
