Yes and you can add Goldcross Cycles to the list. I bought my set at Rays because they were closer and were willing to match SCA's price, despite being part of the same group they didn't have to.

Same here but like I said I can always take the other ones back, haven't cracked the seals or packaging yet. Based on current normal price they will be $236 with a 20% off sale.

If you join the supercheap club and buy something and swipe your club card, if it goes on sale within 2 weeks, they automatically credit your club card with the difference. I've had it a few times. SO in theory, you could buy them today and assuming they do go on sale on the weekend, you'll get a credit for the difference on your card for next time you go in.

It''s happened to me a few times. I didn't even know it'd happened but had a credit next time I went in. Pretty impressive really.

As mentioned previously Supercheap are having their 20% off sale today with Maxtrax priced at $239.20 (I'm assuming based on normal price of $299). It's annoying but probably not worth the hassle of returning my Ray's purchased pair and then heading to SCA, would lose most of the saving in petrol and time.

You are within your rights to take them back with your receipt if they are new.
It's likely rays would say we will match it or beat it a bit.
Unless you got someone with attitude, then you go to SUPERCHEAP, likely next door!

Thanks guys, after seeing your posts, I headed down to SCA and got a pair - $239.20. Great price thanks to the 20% off sale.
Now I have to try harder at getting the Prado stuck so I can get value out of the $239 investment. LOL

Actually retailers are not obligated to take back products for "change of mind", some do it anyway though.

Out my way Supercheap and Rays are in completely different suburbs so by the time I drove back and forth it would be a waste of petrol (there was only $25 difference in the price I paid anyway. It will just teach me to wait for a sale next time.

If anyone thinks they have missed out you can still order them off the website and do a "click and collect" to pick them up from your local store at the sale price. I'm not sure what happens if that store doesn't have stock though.

Bloody good product....
Got myself and a 6ton flat bed out on the strezlecki when we got rained in....we were creeping along at bugger all speed and did a full 180 spin that could have ended badly....but the max trax made short work of me and a explosives truck laden with gear...no splits or cracks. ....good product...
